‘Application for Project Financing”. |

2—Assess Preliminary Application
Assess application for compliance with CDF Criteria. |

3—Dispatch Letter to NGO/CBO
Acknowledge receipt of application, and results of preliminary and next
steps |

Step 4 (if
criteria are met) — Develop Detailed Proposal
Organisation develops detailed proposal with input from CDF Programme
Officer, Community Development Officer and other specialists as
required.Step 4 (if criteria
are not met) — Evaluate Detailed Proposal
CDF evaluates detailed proposal against Fund criteria and determines
whether project is eligible for funding, which components or activities
should be funded and level of support t o be provided by the CDF. |

Step 5—
Prepare Report for consideration of the CDF
Steering Committee The CDF Programme Officer prepares a report
recommending the level of support/funding as determined in Step 4 |

Step 6—CDF
Steering Committee considers Report
The CDF Programme Steering Committee considers and makes final
evaluation and determines whether the project should be supported and
the level of support/funding. |

Step 7 (if
not approved)—Dispatch Letter to NGO/CBO
Acknowledge receipt of application, and results of preliminary and next
steps |

Step 8 (if
approved)—Establish Agreement
Organisation enter into an agreement with the Government of Trinidad and
Tobago and is formally awarded a grant |

Step 9 —
Implement Project
Organisation implements project with support from the CDF Monitoring and
Evaluation Officers, Community Development Officers and / or staff from
other development agencies. Organisations submit Quarterly Reports and
Final report to CDF. |

Step 10—
Ex-post Evaluation of Projects
CDF Monitoring and Evaluation Officers or External specialists
conduct ex-post evaluations to determine the success of the project. |
